Oasis improvements

Québec, March 11, 2004 – Orthofab is pleased to announce some improvements we added to our products.

We take this opportunity to thank you for your comments and suggestions which lead us to reengineer these components.

The main improvements are:

A-700 seating

The backrest structure is now reinforced with a rear welded tubing. This will allow a better backrest support when there is no profiled backrest interface.

Profiled backrest interface

The profiled backrest interface was modified to prevent contact with the reclining backrest axle and to increase lateral support from the seat cushion.

A-700 solid seat with elastic support

The solid seat with elastic support was modified to increase efficiency by adding more elastic and increasing its thickness.

A-700 flat profiled seat cushion

The flat profiled seat cushion now has a rear thickness of 1 ½ inch and a front thickness of 2 ¼ inch. This will increase comfort.

Articulated headrest support

We completely changed the shape of the headrest support parts to eliminate the possibilities of injury from the protruding adjustable tubing that allows headrest position adjustment.

Rear wheels

We are now adding grease on the gear motor axle to facilitate removal of the wheel hub.

All these improvements will appear on the Orthofab products gradually in the weeks to come. Please consult your sales representative to schedule a presentation and answer your questions.
